Did you know that fighting poverty and inequality has everything to do with understanding gender, race, and ethnicity? Women, blacks, indigenous people and the LGBT+ population earn lower wages, have less access to public services, are not politically represented and suffer constant violence.
It is fundamental when constructing the budget to recognize the demands of women, the LGBT+ community, blacks, Quilombolas and indigenous people. We act with the objective of increasing the capacity for social dialogue and social pressure for the State to elaborate and implement public policies that effectively guarantee human rights and that are properly designed and committed to face the different faces of inequality: gender, sexual orientation, race / color and ethnicity, generation, territory, and income.
